Birthdayysssss!!!

WhatsUp guys!!!

So yeah this month has been busy with birthdays, birthdays everywhere. But, there was only two birthdays which were more important to me than anyone else’s this month. That was two of my best friends Zuruk (Zuruqanain) and also Taz (Tasleem). These two have been my best friends and well, my family, since I met them in secondary school; Zuruk in Year 7 and then Taz in year 9.

Zuruks birthday weekend was hectic. On Friday I had come home from work and I had to go out to see a few old college friends to say whats up and have a good catch up. Then on Saturday, I had to clean the house and go out to see family and do some shopping for the following day which was Sunday, and that meant PPV night :D. We all are extreme WWE fans never miss a show or PPV. So they came round on Sunday night and we had Pizza. After at 12 O’clock we cut Zuruks birthday cake and I tell you it was amazing and we started watching the PPV. Let’s say it was an all-nighter.  and the next day we went to Needoos and oh god was the food spicy but perfect (YUMMYY!!!).

The following weekend came Tasleem's birthday. This time it was less hectic (maybe because I wasn’t organizing it as much) yet still had a hectic day running around.

On Wednesday my new baby cousin was born so I had to go see him. He is SOOOO CUTEE!!! And even better, they are giving him the same name as me; Ahmed. So that means double trouble :D. However, on that Sunday we went to Maedah grill in Bethnal Green and well the food was nice, a bit to oily, but still nice. Then we cut some cake and have a bit of halal champagne (Non-Alcoholic) and then we just came back home. However, we still had a lot of fun.

But now I got to prepare for one last person’s birthday; the most important friend I could find. Therefore, I am going to try my hardest to make her birthday special.

EXAMMSS ARE DONEE!!!!!

Hey Guysss!!!!

Hope you’re all well. So as you can see from the title I am all done from everything. I am stress free and now I can relax and have fun, which I have been doing for a while. (My fun includes sleeping and eating CAKEE!!)

However this blog is a bit different. It's going to be a summer wish list on what I am looking to do over the summer and what I am going to let you know.

Firstly, June is going to be my best friend’s birthday, so it is going to be one of the best days I can think of and the start of my summer plans with PAINTBALL!!!. We are going to go Mayhem paintball followed up with food and some CAKEE. So fun!!!!.

Secondly it’s Ramadhan so that means kebabs, Samosas and CHIKUNN!!! Yes the love of my life, during that month is a time of change. People mainly know it for Muslims not eating and drinking anything from sunrise to sunset. However, it isn’t just about that. It's soul searching and changing yourself for the better and being grateful for what you have. (I’ll explain more about it later on in time).

Thirdly after a month of fasting, I will be enjoying everything with a shisha catch-up in our local lounge, Lost Asia, with lovely food; Biryani and of course as said... SHISHAA!!!. Also I’ll be looking to go for a weekend trip away to somewhere in UK to relax and have a break with my best friends.

Finally before the start of the third year and the final year of stress I will be going to Thorpe Park or a theme park, to end which I hope will be a good end to an eventful year and summer. And a good start to a stressful one.

Mind Maps

Hey guys today’s blog is going to be a different instead of me ranting about exams and coursework and just general Uni life. I am going to talk about Mind maps aka spider diagrams and brain storms. Now why mind maps?
Have you ever felt that you feel like you don’t understand straight forward instructions or plans, or find that plans are just too boring and you need a bit of chaos in your life with your plans instead of general linear plans and get bored easily well mind maps is for you?
A few months back my life was chaos and I always thought put it in a linear way and it will be fine. Well let’s say linear methods actually made it more of a chaos, instead of sorting the problem out. So I had my monthly meeting with my supervisor, and well she gave me the idea of mind maps. Originally I thought mind maps had to be neat and colourful and well linear chaos. However when my supervisor showed me her form of a mind map - it was amazing, it was chaotic yet organized and for once it was not neat. It was personal.

Now it has honestly changed my life whatever I remember or whatever I know is put on a mind map so I can remind myself of what I need to do. I recently used it in my exam, it was the best thing I could do as I didn’t go astray from my topic I focused on a single argument and used that argument in various ways.

Therefore a tip from me -  if you don’t like linear or boring ways of planning then I would advise using a mind map as it will be organized chaos and it will make your life easier. But everyone thinks in different ways so use what is perfect for you and do not worry if one technique doesn’t work use a different technique as you might find something that works for you and share it, as it could help other people as well.

Lots of stress!

Heyyy GUYSSS!!!

So yeah, again I am sorry for the limited posts but life has been hectic. My life for the past 2 months has been full of stress. Exams, Friends, and just life in general has stressed me out.

My exams are around the corner and all starting so soon, I cannot believe that I am almost done with my second year and I am going on to my final year of my undergraduate degree. Just feels like yesterday, where I was an 18 year old kid going into something which is going to hit me hard and ultimately decide my fate. Good news is that my coursework is complete and I got grades back. Overall I could have done better but considering my attitude and laziness I got the grades I deserved.
But now I have told you about the depressing side of exams and coursework let’s get to the most recent stress of my life ----- illness! After my coursework was completed I was hit with everything -the cold, the flu and also a stomach bug! Yes I was hit with every illness possible which wasn’t serious but made me bed bound for about 2 weeks. L

However I made a full recovery and now I’m feeling great and fit as a fiddle, I am back in gym after a three month break and I can say I feel good. I feel lighter, confident and much more happier than before however I need to get back into routine and never miss LEG DAY!!.

Tip: After 3 month break from gym do not go and kill yourself by doing heavier weights then unnecessary. (Trust me I felt the pain after).

Overall, the past 2 months have been hectic but after May I pray I shall be free from all stress and update you with more blogs and a little surprised keep tuned.

BYEEEEE!!!

I’m Sorry!!

Hey guys, hope you all are well!! Firstly I am going to apologize for the lack of blogs I’ve been uploading and writing! From now on I will try and catch up with the blogs as now the pressure has been relaxed where my coursework has been taken control of!!

Okay so I got a huge amount of information for you guys!! So I shall begin from the start of the New Year ----- I have passed my driving test JJJ, meaning I can finally drive without anyone stopping meee yeeyyy!! Well that’s what anyone would think, however that is not the case. For now I need to save up as the car I have found is for £500, you must be thinking that’s a decent price to buy it, however for the cost of the car is a total £5,000 that includes insurance, fuel, and road tax. So I have to wait a few years before I am able to drive.

Second thing I have to tell you is about my birthday which was back in January. It was an amazing day and I loved it every moment of it. In the morning it was a bit of a normal day felt like my teen years were over as I turned 20 however I had an amazing evening and I felt like a teenager again as I went out with a few friends to my local restaurant/shisha bar. Well that wasn’t the original plan as I was thinking of going Al Souks which is a Lebanese restaurant and then following that up by going to a shisha lounge in Gants Hill which is known as Vapours. But as always I never stick to my plans and that day I wasn’t bothered going too far so I went out to my local lounge with a few close friends.

Check out my video clip:

And here are some pics from the night:

Thirdly from last month my life has been hectic education wise, doing podcasts and preparing for my final essays! That was a hell. Last week I felt like giving up however I didn’t and now I’m back in control. On the weekend I finished a 2,500 word essay! Now I’m half way through my second essay which is 3000 words however I have 2 essays left to start, one is a normal essay and that is 3000 words as well. But I have a 4,000 word essay due today and that is a research essay meaning google and me are going to become best of friends :P

Advice *Panicking is natural and you will panic no matter what, if you don’t hats off to you, however if you go through panicking, the best thing to do is calm down! Don’t let your mind take control but you need to take control, once that is done start the coursework or face the situation head on. Remember to talk about it to somebody as you are not alone in this situation. There will be many of your classmates saying ‘I’m stressed’, ‘I want to give up’ and several other negative comments. Finally find a positive and think about that then hopefully you should be fine*

Anyway I’m off to carry on with essays so I should be giving you a shout, and a little snippet of what may come up is best friend’s birthday, the Cricket World cup and Haven. Hopefully my essays should be finished by then :D

5 Tips on how to Travel in London

Hey guys today I am going to do something different to my usual blogs. Usually in London there are certain etiquettes required to travel on buses, tubes and trains and they should be consider otherwise you get a lot of disappointed looks and angry people. So I am going to give quick 5 tips on how to travel and commute in the Capital.

Tip 1: Let passengers get off first.

When travelling on the Tube, DLR, or the overground you need to let passengers get off first, as the driver will not leave you behind he has a mirror to look into to make sure everyone is safely on so do not rush. Also it is a timesaver instead of barging through if you wait those few seconds it could avoid an argument allowing you to save time.

Tip 2: Wear Headphones if you want to listen to music.

On any form of public transport in London, if you want to listen to music please use your headphones no one wants to hear Eminem or 50 cent or any bhangra blasting from your phone it is rude and also people might have a headache so you might want to be courteous and use your headphones.

Tip 3: Give Priority to certain individuals.

When on the bus or train or DLR there is always priority seats for certain individuals please give them these seats as it makes the journey more pleasant for them, and also it makes the journey less painful for others as they don’t have to wait if there is an argument.

Tip 4: Do not block the escalators.

When on the escalators it is an etiquette to stand on the right (It says it there) so people
who are in a rush for anything can walk up the left hand side of the escalators, making it easier for everyone to get along and have a lovely time travelling in London.

Tip 5: Oyster Cards.

In London to travel you need an oyster card but sometimes there are those certain individuals who will hold up the bus because they haven’t topped up their oyster or they have an invalid oyster card. So my best Advice is to TOP IT UP before you leave otherwise it’ll annoy people and also annoy you as you will have to pay a fine.

And that is it for now, these tips are there to help you commute and I hope you have learnt quite a bit on London’s travel etiquettes.

Oh yeah I forgot to say all my coursework is done and now I am completely free, next Monday I finish work for the Christmas, and I shall be back in January

Take Care Guys

Peace!! :D

Freedom, Shisha and CHICKEN!

Hey guys, good news I am Free! All my assignments are done and now I am just looking forward to the Christmas holidays where I am able to relax and enjoy the break; however as a Uni student I still have to do a few days of work therefore Christmas holidays mean few books and journals to go over but on top of that I will need to start preparing for my 20th which is on Christmas day :D.

My plan is to go laser tag and then have a nice evening out with a few close friends, having a nice meal and doing some shisha, (I love my shisha and chicken).  In the past 3 weeks I have been going to various shisha places to find the best one for my birthday and I think I have found one which is in Leyton a 10-20 minute bus journey from Stratford, and a five minute journey via train from Stratford. To be honest this isn’t for my birthday I just love my shisha so I go for the fun of it.

As you know I had 4 assignments due last time I blogged, and I have received my feedback from all of them, and I ended up with a 2:1, 2:2, 2:2 and a 3rd. 3 of the four grades I am happy with however the 3rd I am not. Nevertheless I have received my feedback and it just means that I have to slow down to get the best grade possible, even though I have a 3rd I know I can do better and this has woken me up for time management.

I am resuming my driving soon as I am free and my test is around the corner, this time I am not nervous as I know what is expected of me to pass and this time I am going to tick all the boxes and PASS!!.

That’s it from me for now as I am going to get some sleep which is required round about right now.
BYEEE!!

PS. As a treat I’ve got the new Assassins creed Game and it is AMAZING!!!
